Background

ABTB2 is another member of the ankyrin repeat and BTB/POZ domain-containing protein family, playing a regulatory role in cellular signaling and transcriptional control. The BTB/POZ domain enables dimerization and interactions with ubiquitin ligases, suggesting a role in protein degradation and turnover.
