This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein.

Descripción

Retinoid X receptor beta (RXRB) is another member of the RXR family, with a role in mediating the effects of retinoids and regulating gene expression RXRB forms heterodimers with RXRA and other nuclear receptors, influencing various physiological processes including lipid metabolism, cellular differentiation, and inflammation It is widely expressed in tissues such as the liver, brain, and heart, where it regulates the expression of genes involved in fat metabolism, cholesterol homeostasis, and glucose metabolism RXRB also plays an important role in the immune system, where it helps modulate the activity of immune cells and inflammatory responses Dysregulation of RXRB has been implicated in metabolic diseases, such as obesity and type 2 diabetes, as well as cardiovascular diseases where altered lipid metabolism and inflammation contribute to disease progression RXRB represents a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of metabolic disorders, inflammatory diseases, and cancer

Receptor for retinoic acid. Retinoic acid receptors bind as heterodimers to their target response elements in response to their ligands, all-trans or 9-cis retinoic acid, and regulate gene expression in various biological processes. The RAR/RXR heterodimers bind to the retinoic acid response elements(RARE).

Retinoic Acid Receptor RXR-Beta (RXRB) Antibody

This gene encodes a member of the retinoid X receptor (RXR) family of nuclear receptors which are involved in mediating the effects of retinoic acid (RA). This receptor forms homodimers with the retinoic acid, thyroid hormone, and vitamin D receptors, increasing both DNA binding and transcriptional function on their respective response elements. The gene lies within the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II region on chromosome 6.
