Note
THIS PRODUCT IS FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY. NOT FOR USE IN DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC PROCEDURES. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein.
The stability of the kit is determined by the rate of activity loss. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. To minimize performance fluctuations, operation procedures and lab conditions should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same user throughout.

Descripción

LPAR2 is a G protein-coupled receptor for lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), expressed predominantly in epithelial tissues, the gastrointestinal tract, and immune cells. LPAR2 activation triggers signaling through Gq, Gi, and G12/13 proteins, leading to phospholipase C (PLC) activation, calcium mobilization, and Rho-mediated cytoskeletal changes. LPAR2 regulates cell proliferation, migration, and survival, playing important roles in tissue repair, immune responses, and cancer progression. In wound healing, LPAR2 promotes epithelial cell migration and proliferation, aiding tissue regeneration. In cancer, LPAR2 signaling enhances tumor cell survival, invasion, and resistance to apoptosis, particularly in ovarian and gastrointestinal cancers. LPAR2 also modulates immune responses by regulating cytokine production and immune cell migration. Dysregulation of LPAR2 is associated with inflammatory diseases and cancer metastasis. Targeting LPAR2 with selective antagonists is being explored for treating cancers and inflammatory conditions, as it contributes to pathological cell growth, migration, and survival.
