Background

ADGRE3, also known as EMR3, is a member of the adhesion GPCR family expressed mainly in myeloid and granulocytic cells. It is believed to contribute to immune regulation and cellular communication in the innate immune system, although its precise biological functions remain less well-defined compared to ADGRE1 and ADGRE2.
