Background
Coronin 1C (CORO1C) is another member of the coronin protein family with a role in regulating actin filament dynamics. Like CORO1A and CORO1B, CORO1C plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as actin-based movement, endocytosis, and cytokinesis. However, CORO1C is particularly important in the regulation of the immune system, where it modulates the signaling pathways of immune cells, including T cells, and contributes to the response to inflammation.
