For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
aarF domain-containing kinase 1 (ADCK1) is part of the atypical kinase family characterized by the presence of an aarF domain, which is involved in coenzyme Q (CoQ) biosynthesis. ADCK1 is thought to function in mitochondrial processes, particularly in regulating the synthesis and stabilization of CoQ, an essential molecule in the electron transport chain for ATP production. While the specific physiological roles of ADCK1 remain under investigation, its expression in tissues with high energy demands suggests a key role in mitochondrial energy metabolism. Dysregulation of ADCK1 has been implicated in disorders related to mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress, and metabolic imbalances. Emerging studies also suggest ADCK1 may participate in cellular signaling pathways linking energy metabolism and stress responses.
