Descripción
ANP32CP, also known as ANP32E, is a member of the ANP32 family that plays a significant role in histone dynamics and chromatin remodeling. ANP32CP regulates the exchange and deposition of histone H2A.Z, a histone variant that influences transcriptional regulation, DNA repair, and chromatin structure. By modulating H2A.Z localization, ANP32CP is involved in regulating gene expression, DNA damage response, and genomic stability. Its activity is crucial for cellular differentiation, proliferation, and stress adaptation. Dysregulation of ANP32CP has been associated with cancer, where altered histone dynamics promote transcriptional changes driving tumor progression. Its role in histone regulation highlights its significance in maintaining chromatin integrity and cellular homeostasis.

Acidic Leucine-Rich Nuclear Phosphoprotein 32 Family Member C (ANP32C) Antibody
Phosphoprotein 32 (PP32) is a tumor suppressor that can inhibit several types of cancers, including prostate and breast cancers. The protein encoded by this gene is one of at least two proteins that are similar in amino acid sequence to PP32 and are part of the same acidic nuclear phosphoprotein gene family. However, unlike PP32, the encoded protein is tumorigenic. The tumor suppressor function of PP32 has been localized to a 25 amino acid region that is divergent between PP32 and the protein encoded by this gene. This gene does not contain introns.
