Descripción
TAS2R4 is a bitter taste receptor found on the tongue and involved in the perception of bitter flavors. This receptor is activated by various bitter compounds, particularly those that belong to the group of glucosinolates found in cruciferous vegetables, such as cabbage, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts.
