PTPRD Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody against PTPRD.

Background

PTPRD is a receptor-like protein tyrosine phosphatase involved in cell-cell adhesion and neuronal development. It has extracellular immunoglobulin-like and fibronectin type III domains, a transmembrane segment, and two intracellular phosphatase domains. PTPRD plays a vital role in axon guidance, synapse formation, and neuronal survival. It interacts with various proteins to regulate key pathways in neuronal differentiation and connectivity. PTPRD is widely expressed in the brain and implicated in neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders, such as autism and ADHD. Additionally, PTPRD mutations or deletions are linked to tumor suppression in cancers like glioblastoma and lung cancer.
