Descripción
TAAR7H is part of the TAAR family of olfactory receptors that are essential for detecting trace amines and other volatile compounds. Like other TAAR7 subtypes, it is expressed in olfactory sensory neurons and is implicated in sensing environmental cues linked to survival and social communication, such as decaying matter or pheromonal signals.
