This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein.

Descripción

RAB4A, member RAS oncogene family (RAB4A) is a small GTPase that is part of the RAS superfamily, which plays a critical role in regulating intracellular vesicular trafficking and membrane dynamics RAB4A is particularly involved in early endosomal trafficking and recycling, contributing to the movement of endosomes between cellular compartments and facilitating the recycling of receptors and other proteins back to the plasma membrane It plays a role in the regulation of cell surface receptor availability and function, affecting processes like endocytosis, cell signaling, and vesicle trafficking Dysregulation of RAB4A has been associated with various diseases, including cancer, where altered vesicular trafficking can lead to changes in cell growth, adhesion, and migration Furthermore, RAB4A is also implicated in processes such as the immune response and neuronal signaling, making it an important protein for both immune function and cellular communication

RAB4A antibody

The human RAB genes share structural and biochemical properties with the Ras gene superfamily, and RAB4(synonym: RAB4A) is a small GTPase belonging to this Ras superfamily. Accumulating data suggests an important role for RAB proteins either in endocytosis or in biosynthetic protein transport. The transport of newly synthesized proteins from endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi complex and to secretory vesicles involves the movement of carrier vesicles, a process that appears to involve RAB protein function. RAB4 may also function as regulator along the receptor recycling pathway.

Ras-Related Protein Rab-4A (RAB4A) Antibody

RAB4A Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against RAB4A. This gene is a member of the largest group in the Ras superfamily of small GTPases, which regulate membrane trafficking. The encoded protein is associated with early endosomes and is involved in their sorting and recycling. The protein also plays a role in regulating the recycling of receptors from endosomes to the plasma membrane. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for this gene.
