NoteValidity: The validity for this kit is at least 6 months. Up to 12 months validity can be provided on request. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein.

Descripción

Nuclear receptor subfamily 1 group H member 2 (NR1H2), also known as LXRα (liver X receptor alpha), is a nuclear receptor involved in regulating lipid metabolism, cholesterol homeostasis, and immune response NR1H2 is primarily expressed in tissues such as the liver, adipose tissue, and macrophages, where it regulates genes involved in the absorption, storage, and catabolism of cholesterol and lipids LXRα plays a key role in maintaining cholesterol balance by promoting the expression of genes that enhance cholesterol efflux and inhibit cholesterol biosynthesis It also regulates inflammatory pathways, influencing the immune system's response to atherosclerosis and other chronic inflammatory diseases Dysregulation of NR1H2 signaling has been associated with cardiovascular diseases, such as atherosclerosis, where improper lipid metabolism leads to the accumulation of cholesterol plaques in blood vessels LXRα is also a potential therapeutic target for managing metabolic diseases, inflammation, and lipid-related disorders

anti- NR1H2 antibody

Nuclear receptor. Binds preferentially to double-stranded oligonucleotide direct repeats having the consensus half-site sequence 5'-AGGTCA-3' and 4-nt spacing(DR-4). Regulates cholesterol uptake through MYLIP-dependent ubiquitination of LDLR, VLDLR and LRP8; DLDLR and LRP8. Interplays functionally with RORA for the regulation of genes involved in liver metabolism(By similarity). Exhibits a ligand-dependent transcriptional activation activity(PubMed:25661920).
