Form | Lyophilized To keep the original salt concentration, we recommend reconstituting to the original concentration prior to lyophilization (see Concentration) in ddH2O. If a lower concentration is required, dilute in PBS, pH 7.4. If a higher concentration is required, the product can be reconstituted directly in PBS, pH 7.4, though please note that this will change the overall salt concentration. The stock concentration should be between 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex. |

Descripción
ANGPTL1 is a member of the angiopoietin-like (ANGPTL) protein family, which regulates diverse biological processes, including angiogenesis, inflammation, and metabolism, although it does not interact with the Tie2 receptor like classical angiopoietins. ANGPTL1 functions as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting angiogenesis and cancer cell migration. It blocks endothelial cell proliferation and tube formation, reducing blood vessel growth within the tumor microenvironment. ANGPTL1 also regulates cell adhesion and extracellular matrix stability, contributing to tissue homeostasis and integrity. Reduced expression of ANGPTL1 has been observed in several cancers, including lung, liver, and colorectal cancers, where its loss is associated with tumor progression, metastasis, and poor prognosis. ANGPTL1 also plays a role in inhibiting inflammatory responses, linking it to immune regulation and vascular integrity. Its function as an anti-angiogenic and anti-tumor factor highlights ANGPTL1 as a promising therapeutic target for cancer treatment and vascular diseases.
