Descripción
ABHD4 is a serine hydrolase involved in lipid metabolism, particularly in the synthesis and degradation of bioactive lipids such as N-acyl phosphatidylethanolamines (NAPEs). These lipids are precursors to endocannabinoids like anandamide, which regulate processes such as pain, mood, and appetite.
