Neurotrimin (NTM) is a glycoprotein that belongs to the IgLON (immunoglobulin-like cell adhesion molecules containing O-linked glycosylation) family, which is part of the larger immunoglobulin superfamily (IgSF). NTM plays crucial roles in the nervous system, particularly in neuron-neuron and neuron-glial interactions. It is involved in the processes of cell adhesion, axonal growth, and synapse formation.
