Form | Lyophilized To keep the original salt concentration, we recommend reconstituting to the original concentration prior to lyophilization (see Concentration) in ddH2O. If a lower concentration is required, dilute in PBS, pH 7.4. If a higher concentration is required, the product can be reconstituted directly in PBS, pH 7.4, though please note that this will change the overall salt concentration. The stock concentration should be between 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex. |

Descripción
Pregnancy Associated Glycoprotein 1 (PAG1) belongs to a family of aspartic proteinases expressed by the placental trophoblasts in ruminant species. PAG1 is secreted into maternal circulation during pregnancy and serves as a marker of placental function and fetal well-being. It plays a role in modulating immune tolerance during pregnancy by potentially interacting with maternal immune cells to prevent rejection of the fetal allograft. PAG1 has been widely studied in veterinary medicine as a non-invasive biomarker for early pregnancy detection in cattle, sheep, and other ruminants. Its expression profile and stability in circulation make it a useful tool in reproductive management.

Negatively regulates TCR(T-cell antigen receptor)-mediated signaling in T-cells and FCER1(high affinity immunoglobulin epsilon receptor)-mediated signaling in mast cells. Promotes CSK activation and recruitment to lipid rafts, which results in LCK inhibition. Inhibits immunological synapse formation by preventing dynamic arrangement of lipid raft proteins. May be involved in cell adhesion signaling.
