Note | Validity: The validity for this kit is 6 months. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
Leucine-Rich Repeat Neuronal 4 (LRRN4) is a member of the leucine-rich repeat (LRR) family of proteins, which are characterized by repetitive LRR motifs involved in protein-protein interactions. LRRN4 is primarily expressed in the nervous system, where it plays a role in neuronal development, synaptic plasticity, and axon guidance. Its expression pattern suggests involvement in the formation and maintenance of neuronal circuits. LRRN4 contains an extracellular domain rich in LRR motifs that mediate interaction with other proteins, a single transmembrane domain, and a short cytoplasmic tail. These features allow LRRN4 to function as a cell-surface receptor or adhesion molecule, facilitating communication between neurons and their environment. Functionally, LRRN4 is believed to participate in neuronal differentiation, axon pathfinding, and synapse formation. It may also play a role in maintaining the structural integrity of neural networks during development and adulthood. Emerging studies suggest that LRRN4 could be involved in neuronal repair processes following injury.
