Note | Validity: The validity for this kit is 6 months. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
Members of this family exhibit elongated N-termini and harbor multiple functional domains. They are implicated in immune system functions and central nervous system activities. Through alternative splicing, numerous transcript variants are generated, encoding diverse isoforms. ADGRG1, also known as GPR56, is a member of the adhesion GPCR family widely expressed in the central nervous system, immune cells, and various tissues. It plays crucial roles in brain development, particularly in cortical formation. ADGRG1 also regulates cell adhesion, migration, and tumor progression. Mutations in ADGRG1 are associated with bilateral frontoparietal polymicrogyria (BFPP), a neurological disorder. Beyond its developmental role, ADGRG1 has been implicated in cancer and immune modulation, making it a target of interest for therapeutic interventions.
