Form | Lyophilized To keep the original salt concentration, we recommend reconstituting to the original concentration prior to lyophilization (see Concentration) in ddH2O. If a lower concentration is required, dilute in PBS, pH 7.4. If a higher concentration is required, the product can be reconstituted directly in PBS, pH 7.4, though please note that this will change the overall salt concentration. The stock concentration should be between 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex. |

Descripción
ABCB9, also known as TAPL (Transporter Associated with Antigen Processing-Like), is an ATP-binding cassette transporter localized to lysosomes and late endosomes. It plays a role in the transport of peptides into lysosomal compartments, contributing to processes such as antigen presentation and lysosomal proteostasis. ABCB9 contains two nucleotide-binding domains and transmembrane regions that mediate ATP-dependent peptide transport. It is expressed in various tissues, with higher levels in immune-related cells, where it supports lysosomal function and immune responses. Although its precise physiological substrates and roles remain under investigation, ABCB9’s involvement in lysosomal function underscores its importance in cellular homeostasis, immune regulation, and protein degradation pathways.

ABCB9 antibody
ATP-dependent low-affinity peptide transporter which translocates a broad spectrum of peptides from the cytosol to the lysosomal lumen. Displays a broad peptide length specificity from 6-mer up to at least 59-mer peptides with an optimum of 23-mers. Favors positively charged, aromatic or hydrophobic residues in the N-and C-terminal positions whereas negatively charged residues as well as asparagine and methionine are not favored.
