Form | Lyophilized To keep the original salt concentration, we recommend reconstituting to the original concentration prior to lyophilization (see Concentration) in ddH2O. If a lower concentration is required, dilute in PBS, pH 7.4. If a higher concentration is required, the product can be reconstituted directly in PBS, pH 7.4, though please note that this will change the overall salt concentration. The stock concentration should be between 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex. |

Descripción
ABCA5 is a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter family, involved in lipid transport and cellular detoxification processes. It is expressed in various tissues, including the liver, kidney, and brain, where it plays a role in maintaining lipid homeostasis and protecting cells from oxidative stress. ABCA5 utilizes ATP hydrolysis to transport lipids across membranes, contributing to processes such as cholesterol efflux and intracellular lipid trafficking. It is also associated with the regulation of lysosomal function and autophagy. Dysregulation of ABCA5 has been linked to lysosomal storage disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, highlighting its role in cellular clearance mechanisms and homeostasis.
