Note | Validity: The validity for this kit is 6 months. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
TAAR9 is another member of the trace amine-associated receptor family, which is involved in the detection of trace amines in the body. Like TAAR8, it is a G protein-coupled receptor that is primarily expressed in the brain and other tissues associated with sensory processing and neuromodulation. Although the exact physiological functions of TAAR9 are not completely understood, it is believed to be involved in modulating neurotransmitter release, influencing mood, and regulating behaviors such as anxiety and social interaction. TAAR9 signals through Gi proteins, and like other receptors in the TAAR family, it is thought to impact neuronal activity and may be implicated in the regulation of dopamine, serotonin, and other neurochemical systems. The exploration of TAAR9’s role could provide insights into novel treatment approaches for neurological and psychiatric conditions such as depression, schizophrenia, and addiction.
