For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
Testis specific protein Y-linked 1 (TSPY1) is a protein encoded by the TSPY gene family, which is primarily expressed in the testis, where it is involved in regulating spermatogenesis and male fertility TSPY1 is localized on the Y chromosome and plays a role in germ cell development, particularly in regulating the proliferation and differentiation of male germ cells The exact function of TSPY1 is still under investigation, but it is believed to be involved in maintaining the stability of spermatogonial stem cells and facilitating their progression through the stages of spermatogenesis TSPY1’s expression is tightly regulated during development, and its dysregulation has been associated with infertility and testicular cancers, particularly germ cell tumors In these cases, abnormal TSPY1 expression can contribute to tumorigenesis by promoting uncontrolled cell division and survival of malignant germ cells
