Note | Validity: The validity for this kit is 6 months. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
TAAR3P is a putative member of the trace amine-associated receptor family. As a pseudogene, it is believed to share homology with other functional trace amine-associated receptors but lacks the ability to encode a functional protein due to mutations or deletions in its gene. While its precise role in signaling pathways is not well understood, trace amine-associated receptors (TAARs) typically interact with biogenic amines such as phenylethylamine and tryptamine, influencing the regulation of mood, cognition, and sensory processing. The potential involvement of TAAR3P in neuropsychiatric conditions remains speculative, and further research may clarify whether this receptor could have a functional role or be used as a target for therapeutic development.
