Note | Validity: The validity for this kit is 6 months. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
ADGRF2, also known as GPR111, (ADGRF2P) is a member of the adhesion G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family, which is characterized by extended extracellular regions containing adhesion-related domains, such as GPS motifs and Ser/Thr-rich regions. ADGRF2 is expressed in epithelial tissues, particularly in the gastrointestinal tract and kidney, where it is thought to regulate cellular adhesion, migration, and intercellular communication. While the specific ligands and signaling mechanisms of ADGRF2 remain under investigation, its structural features suggest a role in mediating interactions between cells and their surrounding environment. Emerging evidence indicates potential involvement in epithelial tissue maintenance and repair, with implications for wound healing and barrier integrity. Dysregulation of ADGRF2 has been linked to altered epithelial homeostasis and may contribute to conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease or epithelial cancers. Its functional characterization continues to be a focus of research, shedding light on its potential roles in tissue physiology and pathology.
