Note | The validity for this kit is at least 6 months. Up to 12 months validity can be provided on request. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
ABCC12, a member of the ABCC subfamily, is a membrane-associated transporter protein implicated in multidrug resistance and cellular detoxification processes. Its expression is observed in various tissues, including the testis and breast. Although its exact substrates and biological functions remain under investigation, ABCC12 may contribute to transporting organic anions or xenobiotics. Dysregulation or mutations in ABCC12 have potential links to cancer progression and drug resistance. Further research is essential to elucidate its precise physiological and pathological roles.

Multidrug Resistance Associated Protein 9 (ABCC12) Antibody
This gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters and the encoded protein contains two ATP-binding domains and 12 transmembrane regions. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra and intracellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies: ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, and White. This gene is a member of the MRP subfamily which is involved in multi-drug resistance. This gene and another subfamily member are arranged head-to-tail on chromosome 16q12.1. Increased expression of this gene is associated with breast cancer.
