We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
CLEC4A (C-type lectin domain family 4 member A), also known as DCIR (dendritic cell immunoreceptor), is a receptor found on the surface of various immune cells, particularly dendritic cells (DCs) and monocytes. CLEC4A is part of the C-type lectin receptor (CLR) family, a group of proteins that play key roles in the immune system, especially in pathogen recognition, immune homeostasis, and inflammatory responses. As a member of this family, CLEC4A can recognize and bind to carbohydrate structures found on pathogens, self-antigens, and damaged cells. This binding facilitates immune responses and communication between cells of the immune system. CLEC4A has an important immunomodulatory role and is involved in both activating and inhibitory signaling pathways. Its ability to bind self-antigens and regulate immune responses is critical in maintaining immune tolerance, thus preventing autoimmune responses. Its expression in dendritic cells and other antigen-presenting cells highlights its relevance in adaptive immunity, where it influences T-cell activation and the shaping of immune responses. Additionally, CLEC4A is implicated in various autoimmune diseases and infections, making it an important target for therapeutic research.

C-Type Lectin Domain Family 4 Member A (CLEC4A) Antibody
CLEC4A Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against CLEC4A. This gene encodes a member of the C-type lectin/C-type lectin-like domain (CTL/CTLD) superfamily. Members of this family share a common protein fold and have diverse functions, such as cell adhesion, cell-cell signalling, glycoprotein turnover, and roles in inflammation and immune response. The encoded type 2 transmembrane protein may play a role in inflammatory and immune response. Multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. This gene is closely linked to other CTL/CTLD superfamily members on chromosome 12p13 in the natural killer gene complex region.
