Annexin-2 Receptor (ANXA2R) is a protein receptor that interacts specifically with annexin A2, facilitating processes such as cell adhesion, migration, and signal transduction. This receptor plays a role in regulating extracellular matrix interactions and mediating annexin A2 functions in tissue remodeling and immune responses. ANXA2R is implicated in cancer metastasis, where its interaction with annexin A2 supports tumor cell invasion and angiogenesis. Additionally, ANXA2R has been associated with inflammatory responses, where it modulates cytokine signaling and immune cell recruitment. Dysregulation of ANXA2R expression is linked to pathological conditions such as chronic inflammation, thrombosis, and cancer progression.
