Human Alpha-2 Antiplasmin (SERPINF2) ELISA Kit is an ELISA Kit for the in vitro quantitative measurement of Human alpha 2-Antiplasmin concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Inhibitory serpins have been shown to function in processes as diverse as DNA binding, chromatin condensation, immunoregulation ,apoptosis and haemostasis. Serpins are a broadly distributed protease inhibitors that use the conformational change as a mechanism of action. They are central in controlling many important proteolytic cascades. Phylogenetically Serpins superfamily organized in "Clades", named by letters. The following numbers shows the position in the glade. Serpin named as a SERPINXy, (where X is the clade and y is the number within that clade) many serpins also have alternative names from before this classification was proposed. Structuraly Serpinsare three β-sheets (A, B and C), 8-9 α-helices (termed hA-hI) and the reactive center known as reactive center loop (RCL. )Alpha 2-antiplasmin (or α2-antiplasmin or plasmin inhibitor) is a serine protease inhibitor responsible for inactivating plasmin. Plasmin participates in fibrinolysis degrading Fibrin and degradation of various other proteins. This protein is encoded by the SERPINF2 gene.[6]

La plasmina participa en la fibrinólisis, degradando la fibrina y la degradación de varias otras proteínas. Esta proteína está codificada por el gen SERPINF2 .[6]
