Descripción

The ADCYAP1R1 gene encodes the PAC1 receptor, which belongs to the class B G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family. This receptor is the primary target of Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase-Activating Polypeptide (PACAP), a neuropeptide that regulates various physiological processes. ADCYAP1R1 is widely expressed in the central nervous system (CNS), endocrine glands, and peripheral tissues. Upon PACAP binding, it activates adenylyl cyclase and stimulates the production of cyclic AMP (cAMP), leading to downstream signal transduction. ADCYAP1R1 plays critical roles in neuroprotection, stress response, metabolism, and immune regulation. Dysregulation of this receptor has been linked to neurological disorders, anxiety, depression, and inflammatory diseases, underscoring its importance in maintaining physiological homeostasis.

Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase-Activating Polypeptide Type I Receptor (ADCYAP1R1) Antibody

ADCYAP1R1 Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against ADCYAP1R1. This gene encodes type I adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide receptor, which is a membrane-associated protein and shares significant homology with members of the glucagon/secretin receptor family. This receptor mediates diverse biological actions of adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide 1 and is positively coupled to adenylate cyclase. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
