Form | Lyophilized To keep the original salt concentration, we recommend reconstituting to the original concentration prior to lyophilization (see Concentration) in ddH2O. If a lower concentration is required, dilute in PBS, pH 7.4. If a higher concentration is required, the product can be reconstituted directly in PBS, pH 7.4, though please note that this will change the overall salt concentration. The stock concentration should be between 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex. |
Tested Applications | WB, SDS-PAGE |
Buffer | Prior to lyophilization: PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.01% Sarcosyl, 5% Trehalose. |

Descripción
Acylphosphatase 2 (ACYP2) is another isoform of acylphosphatase, primarily expressed in muscle and other metabolically active tissues. Like ACYP1, ACYP2 catalyzes the hydrolysis of acyl-phosphate bonds, regulating energy metabolism and phosphate turnover in cells. ACYP2 is thought to contribute to muscle contraction and cellular energy dynamics by influencing the availability of phosphorylated metabolites. Dysregulation of ACYP2 expression has been linked to conditions such as muscle fatigue and metabolic imbalances. Additionally, emerging research suggests that ACYP2 may play a role in modulating ion transport and mitochondrial function. Further studies are required to delineate its specific contributions to metabolic pathways and its potential implications in metabolic disorders and muscle-related diseases.
