CLEC4D, known as C-type lectin domain family 4 member D, also referred to as macrophage-inducible C-type lectin (Mincle), is a receptor primarily expressed on immune cells, particularly macrophages and neutrophils. CLEC4D is part of the C-type lectin receptor (CLR) family, which is involved in recognizing pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) and damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs).
