Note | This product is for research use only. |
Neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase 3 (NTRK3), also known as TrkC, binds primarily with neurotrophin-3 (NT-3) and is integral to the proper development and function of both the central and peripheral nervous systems. This receptor promotes neuronal survival, axonal growth, and the guidance of neuronal connections during development. Dysfunctions in NTRK3 signaling pathways are linked to developmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders and some cancers, such as medulloblastomas. Its role in neurodevelopment and oncology continues to be a focus of significant clinical research.

Neurotrophic Tyrosine Kinase Receptor Type 3 (NTRK3) Antibody
NTRK3 Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against NTRK3. This gene encodes a member of the neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase (NTRK) family. This kinase is a membrane-bound receptor that, upon neurotrophin binding, phosphorylates itself and members of the MAPK pathway. Signalling through this kinase leads to cell differentiation and may play a role in the development of proprioceptive neurons that sense body position. Mutations in this gene have been associated with medulloblastomas, secretory breast carcinomas and other cancers. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
