Background
ANKRD56 (SOWAHB) is a protein containing multiple ankyrin repeat domains, which are structural motifs known for facilitating protein-protein interactions. ANKRD56 has been implicated in hematopoiesis, particularly in the development and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells.
