Descripción
ANKRD52 is a protein characterized by multiple ankyrin repeat domains that facilitate protein-protein interactions and regulatory functions. ANKRD52 serves as a regulatory subunit within protein phosphatase 6 (PP6) complexes, which are critical for modulating phosphorylation in cellular signaling pathways. It plays a role in controlling cell cycle progression, DNA damage repair, and cellular responses to genotoxic stress. ANKRD52 is particularly important in maintaining genomic integrity and regulating checkpoint signaling during DNA replication and repair.
