Descripción
ANKRD55 is a protein containing ankyrin repeat domains that mediate protein-protein interactions involved in immune regulation and autoimmune diseases. It has been identified as a susceptibility gene for autoimmune disorders, including multiple sclerosis (MS) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA), where its expression influences inflammatory responses and immune signaling pathways.
