Por favor contáctenos para obtener información detallada sobre el precio y disponibilidad.
Description
AGPAT1 Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against AGPAT1. This gene encodes an enzyme that converts lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) into phosphatidic acid (PA). LPA and PA are two phospholipids involved in signal transduction and in lipid biosynthesis in cells. This enzyme localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum. This gene is located in the class III region of the human major histocompatibility complex. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding the same protein.

Descripción
AGPAT1 is a key enzyme in the phospholipid biosynthesis pathway, catalyzing the conversion of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) to phosphatidic acid (PA) by acylating the sn-2 position of LPA. Structurally, AGPAT1 is an integral membrane protein localized to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), where it participates in the synthesis of phospholipids and triglycerides. It plays an essential role in cell membrane formation, lipid signaling, and energy storage. AGPAT1 is ubiquitously expressed and is critical for maintaining cellular lipid homeostasis. Dysregulation of AGPAT1 is associated with metabolic disorders and diseases linked to impaired phospholipid metabolism, such as insulin resistance and lipodystrophy.
