TRAF3-interacting JNK-activating modulator (TRAF3IP3) is a protein involved in the activation of the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) signaling pathway, a key regulator of cell stress responses, apoptosis, and immune function. TRAF3IP3 acts as a scaffold that facilitates the recruitment of TRAF proteins and kinases to specific signaling complexes, promoting JNK activation in response to stimuli such as cytokines and stress. It is also involved in modulating immune receptor signaling and contributes to both innate and adaptive immune responses.
