This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein.

Descripción

Retinoic acid receptor beta (RARB) is another member of the retinoic acid receptor family that regulates gene expression in response to retinoic acid It plays a significant role in controlling cellular processes such as differentiation, growth, and apoptosis, particularly in tissues like the retina, lung, and skin RARB functions by forming heterodimers with RXR and binding to RAREs, where it modulates the expression of genes involved in various biological processes, including the development and maintenance of the central nervous system and the immune system It is particularly important for vision and retinal function, where it helps in the differentiation of photoreceptor cells Retinoic acid signaling through RARB also affects cancer development, as altered RARB expression has been linked to tumor progression, particularly in lung, breast, and colon cancers In addition, changes in RARB signaling have been implicated in autoimmune diseases and neurological disorders, highlighting its importance in both immune function and nervous system development

RARB antibody

Receptor for retinoic acid. Retinoic acid receptors bind as heterodimers to their target response elements in response to their ligands, all-trans or 9-cis retinoic acid, and regulate gene expression in various biological processes. The RXR/RAR heterodimers bind to the retinoic acid response elements(RARE) composed of tandem 5'-AGGTCA-3' sites known as DR1-DR5. In the absence or presence of hormone ligand, acts mainly as an activator of gene expression due to weak binding to corepressors. In concert with RARG, required for skeletal growth, matrix homeostasis and growth plate function.
