Form
Lyophilized To keep the original salt concentration, we recommend reconstituting to the original concentration prior to lyophilization (see Concentration) in ddH2O. If a lower concentration is required, dilute in 20 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, pH 8.0. If a higher concentration is required, the product can be reconstituted directly in 20 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, pH 8.0, though please note that this will change the overall salt concentration. The stock concentration should be between 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex.

Descripción

IL1RN is a natural anti-inflammatory protein that inhibits the activity of interleukin-1α (IL1α) and interleukin-1β (IL1β) by competitively binding to the IL-1 receptor (IL1R) without triggering downstream signaling This inhibition prevents IL1-mediated activation of NF-κB and subsequent production of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL1RN plays a crucial role in balancing inflammation, protecting tissues from excessive immune responses, and maintaining homeostasis Deficiency or mutations in IL1RN lead to autoinflammatory diseases, such as deficiency of IL1RN (DIRA), characterized by systemic inflammation and tissue damage IL1RN-based therapies, like anakinra, are used for treating rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and cryopyrin-associated periodic syndromes (CAPS), where IL1 overproduction drives disease progression

Interleukin 1 Receptor Antagonist (IL1RN) Antibody

IL1RN Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against IL1RN. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. This protein inhibits the activities of interleukin 1, alpha (IL1A) and interleukin 1, beta (IL1B), and modulates a variety of interleukin 1 related immune and inflammatory responses. This gene and five other closely related cytokine genes form a gene cluster spanning approximately 400 kb on chromosome 2. A polymorphism of this gene is reported to be associated with increased risk of osteoporotic fractures and gastric cancer. Four alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
