Description

Pregnant Mare Serum Gonadotropin (PMSG) is a hormone and complex glycoprotein obtained from the serum of pregnant mares. This 43-63 kDa protein acts similarly to Follicle Stimulating Gonadotrophin and Interstitial Cell-Stimulating hormone of the anterior pituitary gland in both males and females. It is used to stimulate the development of the ovarian follicle in females.
