Nucleosome Assembly Protein 1-Like 3 (NAP1L3) Antibody

Por favor contáctenos para obtener información detallada sobre el precio y disponibilidad.
Description
This gene encodes a member of the nucleosome assembly protein (NAP) family. It is linked closely to a region of genes responsible for several X-linked mental retardation syndromes. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene, but the biological validity of the variants has not been determined.

Descripción
Nucleosome assembly protein 1 like 3 (NAP1L3) is another member of the NAP1 family of proteins, involved in chromatin dynamics and nucleosome assembly NAP1L3 participates in the regulation of gene expression by promoting the proper assembly of nucleosomes, ensuring that the DNA is packaged into chromatin while remaining accessible for transcription and other cellular processes It interacts with histones and other chromatin-modifying factors, contributing to the maintenance of chromatin structure and the modulation of gene expression in response to environmental signals and stress NAP1L3’s function is critical for DNA repair and replication, as well as the regulation of cell cycle progression It also plays a role in controlling cellular differentiation and the development of specific tissues, particularly in stem cells and progenitor cells Dysregulation of NAP1L3 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, where altered chromatin remodeling can lead to oncogenic gene activation and uncontrolled cell division Studies have suggested that NAP1L3 could be a target for therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring normal chromatin function and gene expression
