Descripción
VSIG1 is a transmembrane protein predominantly expressed in the stomach and testis. It belongs to the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily, characterized by its role in cell adhesion and signaling. VSIG1 contributes to epithelial integrity and may participate in signaling pathways regulating cellular differentiation. Abnormal expression has been associated with some cancers, suggesting potential roles in tumor biology

V-Set And Immunoglobulin Domain-Containing Protein 1 (VSIG1) Antibody
This gene encodes a member of the junctional adhesion molecule (JAM) family. The encoded protein contains multiple glycosylation sites at the N-terminal region, and multiple phosphorylation sites and glutamic acid/proline (EP) repeats at the C-terminal region. The gene is expressed in normal stomach and testis, as well as in gastric, esophageal and ovarian cancers. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
