For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |

SSR2 antibody
TRAPB(translocon-associated protein subunit beta), also known as SSR2(signal sequence receptor subunit beta), is a 22-kDa single-spanning membrane glycoprotein of the endoplasmic reticulum(ER)(PMID: 7789174). It is a part of the tetrameric TRAP complex(TRAP-alpha, TRAP-beta, TRAP-delta and TRAP-gamma) which functions in regulating the retention of ER resident proteins(PMID: 7916687). The TRAP complex is also involved in endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation(ERAD)(PMID: 17380188).

Translocon-Associated Protein Subunit Beta (SSR2) Antibody
The signal sequence receptor (SSR) is a glycosylated endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane receptor associated with protein translocation across the ER membrane. The SSR consists of 2 subunits, a 34-kD glycoprotein (alpha-SSR or SSR1) and a 22-kD glycoprotein (beta-SSR or SSR2). The human beta-signal sequence receptor gene (SSR2) maps to chromosome bands 1q21-q23. [provided by RefSeq].
