Note | Validity: The validity for this kit is 6 months. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
TAAR4P is a pseudogene within the trace amine receptor family, and like TAAR3P, it is not believed to encode a functional receptor protein. The receptor's gene is likely a remnant of evolutionary changes that may have been rendered inactive by genetic mutations. In functional trace amine receptors, such as TAAR1 and TAAR2, signaling often involves the modulation of neurotransmitter release and the regulation of mood and sensory functions. While TAAR4P itself does not appear to be actively involved in cellular signaling, it may provide insights into the evolution and diversity of the TAAR family, potentially offering information on receptor adaptation and neuropeptide signaling mechanisms.
