NoteValidity: The validity for this kit is 6 months. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein.

Descripción

Protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type J (PTPRJ) is a transmembrane protein belonging to the protein tyrosine phosphatase family, which regulates cellular signaling pathways by dephosphorylating tyrosine residues on target proteins this receptor-like phosphatase is broadly expressed in various tissues including endothelial cells, immune cells, and epithelial cells and is implicated in controlling cell growth, adhesion, and migration it negatively regulates key signaling pathways such as those mediated by receptor tyrosine kinases including VEGFR, PDGFR, and EGFR, making it a critical player in angiogenesis, immune responses, and tumor suppression its reduced expression or functional inactivation has been associated with several cancers, including colorectal, thyroid, and breast cancers, where its loss promotes tumor progression and metastasis emerging studies suggest its role in modulating the immune microenvironment and its potential as a therapeutic target to enhance immune checkpoint therapies ongoing research focuses on elucidating its broader functions in cellular homeostasis and its utility in precision medicine.

anti- PTPRJ antibody

Tyrosine phosphatase which dephosphorylates or contributes to the dephosphorylation of CTNND1, FLT3, PDGFRB, MET, RET(variant MEN2A), KDR, LYN, SRC, MAPK1, MAPK3, EGFR, TJP1, OCLN, PIK3R1 and PIK3R2. Plays a role in cell adhesion, migration, proliferation and differentiation. Involved in vascular development. Regulator of macrophage adhesion and spreading. Positively affects cell-matrix adhesion. Positive regulator of platelet activation and thrombosis. Negative regulator of cell proliferation. Negative regulator of PDGF-stimulated cell migration; through dephosphorylation of PDGFR. Positive regulator of endothelial cell survival, as well as of VEGF-induced SRC and AKT activation; through KDR dephosphorylation. Negative regulator of EGFR signaling pathway; through EGFR dephosphorylation. Enhances the barrier function of epithelial junctions during reassembly. Negatively regulates T-cell receptor(TCR) signaling. Upon T-cell TCR activation, it is up-regulated and excluded from the immunological synapses, while upon T-cell-antigen presenting cells(APC) disengagement, it is no longer excluded and can dephosphorylate PLCG1 and LAT to down-regulate prolongation of signaling.
