Background

Neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase 1 (NTRK1) is an essential receptor that binds with nerve growth factor (NGF), initiating critical signaling cascades required for the survival, differentiation, and functional maintenance of neurons, particularly within the peripheral nervous system.
