LRRC43 is a member of the LRRC family with proposed functions in cell signaling and extracellular matrix (ECM) interactions it is expressed in a variety of tissues including stromal and reproductive tissues studies suggest LRRC43 may regulate cell adhesion and migration by interacting with ECM components and integrins contributing to tissue remodeling and repair processes bioinformatics data indicate a possible role in reproductive biology where LRRC43 could influence processes such as gametogenesis and embryonic development its involvement in cancer progression has also been proposed as its dysregulation may enhance cellular invasiveness and migration further studies are needed to elucidate its molecular mechanisms and assess its relevance in reproductive health and cancer biology
