Background

In cancer, CXCR2 promotes tumor progression, angiogenesis, and metastasis by recruiting myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) and endothelial cells to the tumor microenvironment, enhancing immunosuppression and vascularization. CXCR2 inhibition reduces tumor growth and inflammation, highlighting its therapeutic potential.
