Descripción
Fc Receptor Like 6 (FCRL6) is primarily found on cytotoxic T cells, natural killer cells, and a subset of B cells. Its expression is associated with immune regulation and cytotoxic activity. Unlike other FCRL members, FCRL6 interacts with major histocompatibility complex class II (MHC-II) molecules, suggesting a specialized role in immune surveillance and response. Dysregulation of FCRL6 has been implicated in autoimmune conditions and cancers, including lymphoma and leukemia, highlighting its importance in immune homeostasis and potential as a therapeutic target.
