Background

The anti-Müllerian hormone type-2 receptor (AMHR2) is a transmembrane serine/threonine kinase receptor crucial in reproductive system development and function. AMHR2 is expressed primarily in the gonads, particularly in Sertoli cells in males and granulosa cells in females, where it mediates the effects of anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH).
